Design Narrative
Our goal was to create a design for Notorious The Memorabilia Cafe to house their brand new concept, a space where the memorabilia and the coffee meet. Where the valuable memorabilia items and the people share time together allowing the potential customers to learn and get to know the fine pieces found in the shop.
The approach to the coffee business is new and refreshing, no process will be hidden from the customer’s view. All machines, raw materials and processes are carried out in plain sight.
The unit has indoor and outdoor space. The indoor space is around 100 sqm and the outdoor space is approximately 60 sqm. The unit is spacious with adequate slab to slab height of about 5.05 meters. The unit is located in the waterfront promenade.
We seek to attract a new audience, a different audience, people who enjoy and share an interest in memorabilia while appreciating the quality of the coffee and its processes. For this reason, we propose to create an ample area of open spaces, where workers and customer can move, interact and collaborate with each other in a dynamic and casual way.
Freshly roasted coffee beans and unique loose tea leaf blends will be displayed in the unit allowing customers to sample and discover for themselves the variety of options available.
